YDM Thailand has announced the appointment of “Anuwat Nitipanont” as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) to lead its creative team. The company aims to elevate both client brands and the advertising industry, and has revealed plans to rebrand YDM as an organization driven by creativity and technology to reflect its ability to deliver even better solutions and results for all clients. He brings confidence through experience in integrating creativity, technology, data, content, design, and commerce, backed by more than 300 awards and service as a judge in advertising competitions at both national and global levels.

Mr. Tanapon Subsomboon, Chief Executive Officer of YDM (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a marketing and business transformation agency focused on helping businesses compete and grow quickly in the digital era, said that YDM has appointed Mr. Anuwat Nitipanont as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) to lead YDM’s creative team, including FCB Bangkok and MullenLowe Bangkok, the advertising agencies within the YDM group. The goal is to elevate YDM’s client services through creativity and create new opportunities for clients’ businesses through Full Funnel Creative.

Mr. Anuwat Nitipanont, Chief Creative Officer of YDM (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said that joining YDM is both an opportunity and a challenge to bring more than 20 years of knowledge, skills, and experience to create strong results for brands and clients. He emphasized that an agency must focus on the right priorities and introduced the “GOOD TO GREAT” strategy, based on the belief that bold creativity can create impactful results for clients, while also building reputation and sustainability for brands. It can also help attract talented people to work with YDM. This will become an important idea embedded in the DNA of everyone at YDM. In his new role, he will oversee work for YDM and its affiliated companies across areas such as advertising, social content, and influencer marketing.

The rebrand will reflect the company’s expansion and increased capabilities by highlighting its strengths in technology enhanced by end-to-end creativity, and more clearly communicate YDM’s working philosophy.

Before joining YDM, Mr. Anuwat served as Chief Creative Officer at VML Thailand, where he built an outstanding track record in expanding the client base across diverse industries and developing the creative team to double in size. He helped propel the agency to rank 9th in Asia and 4th in Thailand in The Work 2023 ranking by Campaign Brief Asia. Earlier, he served as Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Bangkok and led the agency to win multiple Agency of the Year awards. Anuwat’s work is known for its simplicity yet power, with a focus on creating positive impact for people, brands, and society.

Throughout his career, Mr. Anuwat has received more than 300 awards from domestic and international advertising stages, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, LIA, Spikes Asia, MAD STARS, ADFEST, and many others. He has also been honored to serve as a judge for global awards such as Cannes Lions, Clio, LIA, One Show, Spikes Asia, MAD STARS, CICLOPE, and AdForum PHNX Awards, and he served as Jury President for the AdMan Awards in 2019. In addition, he has led Thailand’s Young Lions Competitions program to identify and support talented young people in the Thai advertising industry to compete at the global level in Cannes.
